Summer is around the corner, and this year, Alamance County 4-H is offering a mix of opportunities for young people: do-it-yourself, virtual, and in-person experiences. Some are free; some have a fee.
The registration process will be different than it has been in the past. Participants will first enroll in 4-H using the newly enhanced 4-H Online site: 4-H Online. If you’ve already done that, thank you and congratulations! Once you are in 4-H Online, go to the Events link and locate the registration for Summer Sizzle in Alamance County 2021.
Sign up for your choices. Be careful to choose options for your age. After you’ve signed up for your activities, the site will tell you your balance owed (if you’ve chosen activities that have fees), and you can send or bring in your cash or check to the 4-H office. Only one activity is set up to accept payment online: More than Ag (In a Bag).
Take a good look at the information packet linked below. It will have details on registration procedures, COVID-19 precautions, and summer activities.
Please be aware that there are fewer activities planned for this summer in contrast to years past. The capacity for each activity is also limited this year.
If you have any questions, please email taylor_jones@ncsu.edu or cynthia_pierce@ncsu.edu, or call the office at 336-570-6740. We will do our best to answer your questions.
See you soon!
