NC State University’s Betsy-Jeff Penn 4-H Educational Center is looking for interested staff!

Located north of Greensboro, NC in the Piedmont region, the Betsy-Jeff Penn 4-H Educational Center is seeking instructors for our spring school programs season: March 7- May 27, 2022 with great opportunities for continued employment in our summer and fall programs.

The Penn 4-H Center provides day and overnight educational programs to elementary and middle school students on our 220 acres located in the beautiful piedmont region of North Carolina.

Staff provide instruction for programs in environmental science and cultural history, facilitate group initiatives, team challenge course and high ropes course elements. Mostly 5 day work weeks with some weekend work required. This includes day and evening programs but no overnight supervisory duties in the cabins.

Applicants should have degree/some college credits in a related field. Internships may also be available. Previous camp experience is a plus! Staff must have a love for working with kids, an interest in experiential education, enthusiasm for hard work, and a ton of patience!

COMPENSATION: $425/week plus private room in our staff house and meals provided.
