Description:

Med Instead of Meds is a six week course created by a group of nutrition and health professionals from NC State University and NC Division of Public Health. Eating the "Med Way" has been proven to protect against chronic illness.

Each class will include a presentation, hands-on food demo, and tasting (equivalent to a small meal). There will be a registration fee of $25 to cover the cost of ingredients and materials. Registration may be paid prior to or on the first day of class with cash or check (made out to "Alamance County" with "Med Instead of Meds" in the memo section). Scholarships are available to cover the registration fee if needed, contact Eleanor to inquire.
