Safe Plates is a food safety certification course developed by NC State University. Certification is based on passing an ANSI-approved exam from the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals. Passing this exam satisfies the NC requirement for a certified food protection manager.

**For those of you familiar with the Safe Plates course, please note the change in location and class times. We are excited to be partnering with ACC to offer this course. The course content is the same but will be delivered over the span of four weekly three-hour classes instead of two full days. Each class session will build on the previous week's material, so attendance for each session is imperative.**
The registration fee is $125. Cost includes instruction, Safe Plates book & slides, 3 practice exams, and final exam. Registration will be due by Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 5:00 PM. Payment due by (or on) the first day of class, March 2, via cash or check. Please make checks out to "Alamance County." Those who pay the registration before the course start date will receive the class materials (book, practice tests, etc) at the time of payment.
