During North Carolina 4-H Congress, held July 22nd-26th in Raleigh, two Alamance 4-H members were installed as officers for the North Central District 4-H Teen Council.

Noah Snyder was installed as the 2024-2025 North Central District Vice President. Kiya Kernodle was installed as the 2024-2025 North Central District Reporter. Other officers are as follows: Amanda Davis (Durham County)- President, Leah Frick (Davie County)- Secretary/Treasurer, and Gabi Mebane (Orange County)- Member Engagement.

All 5 of these teens were voted on and elected into their position by their peers at Teen Retreat, which was held at Betsy-Jeff Penn 4-H Center on April 12th-13th.

As District Officers, Noah and Kiya will help plan events for the North Central District, as well as North Carolina 4-H Congress. Counties that make up the North Central District include Alamance, Alleghany, Ashe, Caswell, Chatham, Davidson, Davie, Durham, Forsyth, Granville, Guilford, Orange, Person, Randolph, Rockingham, Stokes, Surry, Yadkin, Vance, Wilkes.
