Has it been a while since you pruned your apple trees? Or maybe you have bought a property that came with some old apple trees. Either way, it can be a daunting challenge to bring them back into shape.

Bill Kleiner, Extension Agent - Commercial Horticulture, will be demonstrating how to handle an older apple tree that needs to be pruned, but you don't know where to start! You will learn how to prune and train an apple tree for fruit. Feel free to bring your set of loppers and hand pruners to help out with the pruning and training.
