State 4-H Presentation Finals

During District Activity Day, 5 of our Alamance 4-H members secured their spot in the State Presentations Finals, which would be held during NC 4-H Congress.

Noah Snyder, Aedyn Snyder, Gabe Snyder, and Waylon Pendergraft participated in the Beef Char-Grill competition, which required them to grill a cut of beef of their choice, present it to a set of judges, and follow food safety guidelines.

Noah Snyder placed 2nd in the 14-18 age category. Waylon Pendergraft placed 4th in the 14-18 age category. Aedyn Snyder placed 1st in the 11-13 age category. Gabe Snyder placed 1st in the 8-10 age category. Congratulations to all!

Kiya Kernodle competed in the Careers and Entrepreneurship category for Presentations. Her presentation was on starting a non-profit, where she talked about how to start a non-profit, the benefits of being a non-profit, and her own experience with her own non-profit, Kiya's Cupcake Fundraiser. Way to go, Kiya!
