This fruit tree workshop is a must-attend, if you want to learn how to correctly prune newly purchased or overgrown neglected fruit trees. The class and demonstration will be held Thursday, January 25th from 9AM to noon at Buster Sykes Demonstration Farm: 2430 Turner Road Mebane, NC. Dr. Mike Parker, Fruit and Nut Tree Specialist at NC State University will demonstrate how to properly train and prune apple and peach trees to get the best production from each type of tree. Bring your pruning questions to this Think Green Thursday special event!

Registration through Eventbrite is required and the class fee($15) can be paid online or via cash or check to be submitted the day of the event. Checks should be made out to Alamance County. Class fees go towards maintaining our orchard to be able to host classes such as these.
