Collapse ▲North Carolina 4-H’s Empowering Youth and Families Project is seeking non-Union voice talent for an animated series designed to teach middle school youth and their caregivers about conflict resolution and substance misuse. Priority given to 4-H members or alumni.
Plot Synopsis
Seventh-grader Monica feels stuck. Her teachers see her as a slacker who doesn’t live up to her potential. Her demanding father sees her as a helpless child, capable only of chores around the family farm. Her popular, self-assured cousin sees her mainly as an excuse, and her classmates, dazzled by her cousin’s light, don’t see Monica at all. However, when a 4-H project uncovers a dangerous secret, Monica must find a way forward to protect her family.

*A small travel stipend may be available for lead/supporting actors who are not local to the Raleigh area.
