We have been fortunate to be able to be approved for 2 Hours of A, B, D, G, H, I, K, L, M, N, O, T, X on three different classes for 2022.
Working through the pandemic Zoom and Hybrid models have moved to the forefront in facilitating classes, so we will be offering these classes through the Zoom platform, with an in-person option for those who do not have the technological capabilities.
There are a few things that are required in the process of holding a Zoom Class with Pesticide Credit. N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services requires that all the people that attend a virtual pesticide class have a camera on and functioning during the entire class, so that I am able to verify that you did indeed attend, and if someone from NCDA&CS jumps on the call, they too can verify.
I will be sending a link out for the Zoom closer to the day of class, just so that you have it when you need it and it doesn’t get lost. At the end of the class, you will send your name and license number through the chat function, and that will be how I document and make sure everyone gets credit.
These classes will be held on December 7–8. Two classes will be held 9–11 a.m. on both Dec. 7 & 8, and the third class will be held 6–8 p.m on December 8. We have a different platform to register for these classes too, called Eventbrite. Think of it being similar to Ticketmaster or something like that. So click on which class you would like to attend. It will pull up a website that will allow you to register. Fill in your information and it will send you an email to confirm your registration. Please use an email address that you regularly check when you register, I will send out the Zoom Link to the address you register with closer to the date of the class.
Please note that the three classes are the same. You can only receive credit for attending one class.
